Just received my order and it says 2 pills daily. I'm sure that's for the average healthy person.

What dosage should someone taking antibiotics be taking?? What do you do??

I'm taking 200mg doxy 2x a day so just wondering if should take 1 and 1 at the 2 hours after abx or if I should be doing something more.

It is a probiotic.

I only take 1 pill to cut down on the expense. I have never had gut or yeast problems

I know people who take 2 or 3 of these daily.

Hi lymeinmich -- I found mine on drugstore.com for reasonable -- check it out. Someone else had posted that's what they take to keep yeast down so figured I'd give it a try since I'm just starting out with antibiotics. Thanks for posting!!!

I think I pay around $15 a bottle from a local health store. They keep it in the refrigerated section, so I refrigerate mine as well.

I know some do not refrigerate this brand?

$9.16 for a bottle of 120 caps through Swanson Health Products. You won't find a better price anywhere else! It's not necessary to be refrigerated, but I keep mine in the fridge anyway.

I take 2-3 capsules per day, might start taking four.

I got screwed by Lyme Disease!

hi polkahero -- your right that's great pricing. Bottle just says 2 capsules a day so I take one and one (both 2 hours after antibiotic dose). Do you spread them out through the day or take them all at once. I'm guessing at 4 a day you would take 2 and 2??

Hi drgmba,

Yes I would take two at a time. Two in the afternoon between lunch and dinner and two later in the evening. Another trick I read about is to break open one of the capsules and pour the contents in your mouth, swish it around with water/milk and then swallow. This is supposed to help with oral thrush/yeast. Hope this info helps!
