I received a catalog from Swanson Health Products last week and they have dirt cheap prices on supplements. For example they have 100 caps of 500 mg Milk Thistle (good for liver detox) for only $1.75/bottle. They also have 100 caps of 500mg Green Tea (great antioxidant) for only $1.79/bottle. Free shipping on all order over $40.

I looked them up and they have been in business for over 40 years and are based out of South Dakota. Found decent reviews about them online.

I'm starting to get low on certain supplements and was wondering if anyone here has ordered from this company and the quality of their products. I also have a Puritan's Pride catalog that has 3 for 1 specials on most of their products although their prices are a bit higher.

I'm already spending enough on LLMD appointments and drugs, so I'm looking to save anyway I can. If these companies don't measure up, I'm open to any links to supplement companies you guys can provide. Thanks!

Consumer lab seems to really love Swanson products. I was a member of consumer labs for a year. Swanson products always rated very high.

Bump! Any other comments? My cousin says to stay away from NOW products, he's worked in the supplement business for 15 years now. He also says you get what you pay for, maybe that's not the case for this company.

My chiropractor, my mom, and I only buy from Swanson Health Products. They have really good pure vitamins, supplements, and herbs. I would definitely recommend buying from them.

Hi. I can add to the discussion here. I have been taking Swanson Vitamins now for maybe 10 years.They are very good quality and have gotten even better in recentyears and the prices have become often the best value. The other vitamin web site I use is Vitacost.

I am a survivor of Lyme....managing low grade symptoms,under control now for the last 10 years. I dont say I'm 'cured' because I do see occasional arthritic flare ups....but I manage to make them go away with my treatment protocol.

I was stricken by the western black leg tick 14 years ago and was desperately ill for the first year. and made a dramatic healing recovery ,which took about a year to get my good health back.

Its a long process that requires great effort to heal,as I'm sure everyone knows, ....but it can be done with success.

In my own treatment I developed and evolved,vitamins played a big role in health improvement,and still do.

But the #1 healing tool I used that really did the greatest healing,it was really curative, was/is the use of the Zapper. The one I use is the basic Hulda Clark design. costs about 59 bucks, you can get them on Ebay. They work superbly. I know there are many types of zappers and rife type devices.... some cost thousands. They may work great as well, but I find this basic zapper has worked well for me.

Zapper Z4eX...... easy to find on ebay. the seller is reputable to buy from as well. I'm not associated with that ebay store...its just the place I buy zappers at. bought one for my daughter, friend, and myself.

The vitamin therapies....I dont think ,looking back 14 years now of experience, I dont think they 'get rid of ' Lyme by themselves....including the colloidal silver, whick Ive used all the time, and the artemesian/wormwood...and cloves, etc....helps with parasites I suppose...everything good helps...grapefruit seed extract for candida, probiotics are essential after all the flora is killed off along with bad bacteria....its a big comprehensive program to make it all work right.

I used to take 2 extra hot baths every day to agitate the Lyme,and then I use the zapper. I took a few 8 week courses of Biaxin and that worked well.....but the real curative therapy has been the Zapper above all else.

But now, the latest therapy that I've added to my health regimen is a far infrared sauna...it seems to bring the Lyme out of hiding ,and up to the 'surface' so to speak....brings it out from hiding in the deeper tissue...and then I use the zapper. this combination has been ridding me of more Lyme on deeper levels. Its something I know is happening, from understanding my body, and the symptoms, as they emerge, before treatments , after treatments. etc. Infrared sauna. and the zapper.

I've been using Swanson for almost two years. I did the same thing and looked at a couple of reviews that were pretty good, I guess because of the direct selling they are able allow the consumer to buy at a much lower price without the markups.

I use other supplements, but they are more expensive but they are more effective. I guess that's why they cost much more.
