MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

This just in, from Dr. Jones Attorney, Thursday, January 10th:

The January 15th meeting is open to public. It is not critical for there to be a huge show of support at this meeting, but people are welcome to attend.

The motion is on the agenda for the board to decide whether or not to reconsider their decision. They might make a decision right there as to whether or not they will reconsider, or they might postpone it to another date.

Dr. Jones and his legal team will be there. Per the Attorney General’'s office, it is up to the board on Tuesday whether Atty Pollack can have oral argument on it or not.

They won’'t know until they get there whether the board will allow the attorney to speak.

The Attorney General will advise the Medical Board on how they should proceed that day. They can approve the motion, and decide to investigate it, or deny it and throw it out that day.

If they grant motion, then they have the ability to investigate it, and may ask the parents to testify. They will have all the documents in advance for their review, but can investigate further if they choose.

It is expected the reporter from the Hartford Courant will be there, waiting for the decision so he can then report the story in full.

To recap, the January 15th meeting of the board is just to decide whether to agree to reconsider their decision or not.

It would be great if people were there, but there is no guarantee that much of anything will happen on Tuesday, so if you go be prepared for that. It could definitely be worth going, but the legal team just won't know until that day what will actually transpire. Dr. Jones, however, will surely appreciate any supporters who are able to attend.
