Hey guys, I need some help! I was wondering if any of you have had any teeth extracted. I have a cavity in my wisdom tooth and I want to know if any of you have had teeth extracted while you had Lyme and what the results were? Were you okay? Were there complications?

Thanks!

In my experiences even when getting a cavity filled, it returns and then you need a root canal. Once you have a root canal then you need a crown.. VERY expensive, only to have the tooth degenerate under the crown too..

I'm sure it's a lyme thing as my oral hygiene has always been excellent...Some people with lyme don't have problems at all though.. so *shrug* it's an individual thing all the way around with lyme.

I say if you need it pulled then just do it....and face it head on...DETOX your body before and after so you can remain as symptom free as possible.

*HUGS*

With Him we "live" no matter the circumstances. At His feet peace of mind can be found. Peace that passes all understanding is my quest now and forever.

Numbers 6:24-26

Over 50% of root canals fail at some point. Not recommended to get them. BUT, if you do get one, best to use a biological dentist, preferably one who's lyme literate if at all possible. My two root canals failed and had an infection that I didn't know about. It spread to my upper gums and made a mess of it. Had to have my gums lifted and the infection scraped out, and the tooth pulled too. Very $$$.

But the biological dentist was excellent. Hardly any pain at all. He's into muscle testing and is lyme literate. Getting the infection taken care of helped my body's immune system to fight lyme disease rather than the infection I didn't know I had. Felt much better afterwards.

love to,

you have MERCURY IN YOUR MOUTH RIGHT; we all do; you'll need a BIODENTAL to remove mercury in your mouth; takes a SPECIALIST for that. this advise i gave you last week for your oral surgery question you asked.

if you have cavity fixed, NO ANALGAM, sp...always get this mixed up..that's putting MORE mercury in your mouth.

toothfairy carol/leader, is a dental technician; hopefullyshe will chime in. if she hasn't in 24 hrs. sent her a private message ok. go upto leadership section, upper right, find her name and send her a pm fromthere ok?

premed ANTIBIOTIC 2 days prior and 3 days after appointment

[b]clindamycin 150mg tid 3 times day.

clindamycin is one of the few drugs that target areas of bone and gums in the mouth.

wisdom teeth must be removed as they are a major source of infection that can go down the lymph space into the heart.

may 2011 i had a molar removed; it had a CRACK in it with a temporary crown i had left in there 2 yrs. vs. 1 month as he suggested; i didn't want to pay$1,000 for crown!!

i had 2 abx 1 hr. prior per my hip replacement surgeon's recommendation. it was very hard to get it out. he worked/worked; it came out in chunks.

it hurt; all normal stuff, but next dayi started bruising, EXPECTED, but major black/blue for 5-6" long and 2" wide...just at prime time for my100 yr. old aunt's funeral 5 dayslater.

took 2 wks. for bruising to go away. my regular dentist's office had never seen a reaction like mine was. all the years, NOTHING like that happened to me; why?? heaven only knows.

NOT treating lyme presently; treating everything else wrong mainly DIABETES 2 OUT OF CONTROL.
