Three months into Doxy treatment, I got a bumpy scaley rash.

It's on my upper back, neck, chest , and face. I also have acne now at 47 years old.

One month after it appeared my LLMD said it was time to change meds.

Now 6 weeks int Zithro/Plaqeunil the rash is still here.

It is not the sun rash, as I have it in areas that never get sun.

It is small bumps, that feel worse than they look. They feel scaley, and sometimes I rub or scratch them off.

It's like my pores cannot keep up with expelling bacteria or something??

I drink loads of water, take epsom salt baths, dry brush, nothing is working.

Anyone else have this? Any ideas PLEASE?

Oh, I do not itch, but I'm a picker.

Wanted to add it kind of feels like the bump are stuff coming out of my pores (or plugged pores).

Cuz I can rub them off at times?? Like tiny blackheads, but they are not black?

Sound gross, but like I said, It feels worse than it looks unless I'm lyme blind now too.

The rash/acne you are describing is caused by the Bart bacteria. Bart needs Oxygen to

live, that's why it comes to the surface of your skin. If the bacteria builds up in one

place for too long, it can cause a type of plaque up that will destroy your skin. My

face is completely scared & poxed due to this.

I can only offer you my advise & what works/helps me. Everyone is different, okay? I

start by taking a cumin (yes, cumin) bath. Use a jetted tub or invest in one of those

conair portable bath spas (the more the water is moving around the better) and take a

nail/body/bath brush to scrub your entire body. Make sure you lay in the tub & soak your

head & face also. You will be surprised how much stuff is in your scalp!!!

While alternating bathes (every 2-3 days)do the same with celtic sea salt (celtic, works

best for me)

At night & in the morning put staight, "Tamanu Oil" on your face. This oil was

originally used to treat people w/ leprocy. It doesn't burn or irritate your skin in any

way. I swear by it & it works better than an LD, derm. medicine my LLDM has ever given

me. I even turned her onto it & she is starting to recommend it her other PTS.

I hope this info can help & give you some relief.

So you put the cumin in the bath water? Cumin spice from the grocery store?

Where do I find the Tamaru oil and celtic salt?

And when you say alternate bathea every 2-3 days do you mean take one every 2-3 days?

Also how much do I use of each of these product?

Thanks so much for this info.

Yep, regular cumin from the grocery store. I would by it in bulk, it'd cheaper that way.

Put about 1 cup in the tub. You'll see & feel it working. I do 2 days cumin / 2 days

celtic sea salt. I guess you can do every other day? Whatever works for you. If you have

a plaque build up in a certain area, you can make a small bowl on cumin/water & brush it

on it. (I do that with my face. My cheeks are really bad.) I get the celtic sea salt &

tamanu oil at a HFS.

Just wanted to post about my experience with this. I was in my 3rd week of abx when I tried this and it worked beautifully. My skin isn't scaly anymore! I've also experimented w/dry mustard (which doesn't stink as badly, but it also burns a little bit) but it's just as effective. If you have skin issues as I have for 25 years, you won't believe the difference! I didn't put in my bath, rather I put a paste directly on

My skin. Amazing!!!
