Hi All,

So my doctors office told me today that the blood work she sent to Quest to check for coinfections last week ALL came back normal. I know this is good news but how can it be??

I have almost every symptom on the lists you have shared with me. I have had Bell's Palsy 3 times in the last year and a half. I can't remember the simplest of words lately.

I'm so confused about these results and the results of my original lab tests which apparently say I may have had Lyme before, but don't now??

LYME DISEASE Ab, QUANT IgM 2.38 High POSITIVE

IGg P41 Ab PRESENT

IgG P28 Ab PRESENT

IgM P23 Ab PRESENT

All other bands were noted as negative.

I asked to speak directly to the doctor and was told in order to do that I needed to make an appointment. That pissed me off because I live kind of far, but she wouldn't talk to me over the phone so I'm going next week to see her.

In the meantime, I have stomach cramps and feel so nauseous...I guess this is normal with Doxy, Nystatin and 200 Billion Probiotics??

Ughhhh....This is all new, so please bare with me!!

Thanks again for your information, suggestions and support!!

XOXO

Tests don't always show the co-infections. I have bart BIG TIME but didn't show up in the bloodwork...sometimes when you've had it for a while it evades the blood and detection (very smart critters).

Your LLMD should be taking your clinical eval into heavy consideration to determine whether or not co-infections are present (Lyme travels with friends!!)

Sorry you couldn't get right in to talk to doctor - very frustrating Sad

I'm sure others will share their perspectives as well. Hang in there and remember we are all here for you!!

I'm an Advocate

Not uncommon at all...

Where you mentioned about the Lyme part of it - borderline positive...I was given the same line many years ago....

Really really common for things to show normal - but get a copy of the results - as there may be more to it...

I was dx'd Clinically and through Bio-Feedback testing...and with Bio-Feedback, that is when we learned of my having Babs, Bart, and reactivated virus HHV6...

Thank you JJ and Christine! I am continuing on course with medication etc... I guess because this is all so new, I'm just so confused. I keep copies of all my lab work and I intend to get copies of the latest results when I go up there on Wednesday! Will keep you posted!

Thanks again!!
