MDJunction to me

Joy75"MDJunction to me is a second home. I visit daily to support and get supported. Everyone is so great here. The people are what make this site so
perfect. When someone says I helped them, I feel so good about myself. When
I am down, I come here to talk with my lovely friends. This is a great site
and I’ve come to love it and my friends here. Thank you for making such a
wonderful place to call home!

To all my fellow Lymies,

In my 'digging' today, I came across this poem I wrote a little over 6 years ago. I guess I've been sharing a lot today, but I am just hoping these things mean something to you. My hope is that they touch your hearts as they have for me. Love, Tahnee

My Guardian Angel

11/05/02

To all those of us who believe.....

I have a guardian angel who watches over me,

A gentle spirit God has sent, whose face I cannot see,

Nay, I cannot see him, but I know he's always there,

And through him passes to my Lord, my each & every prayer...

As surely as the shining sun warms down upon my face,

My little angel follows me, and guards me with his grace,

He always lifts my spirits and reminds me that there's hope,

No matter what the challenge, he gives me strength to cope...

He sits upon my shoulder, as I go from place to place,

Always ready to offer comfort, my heart he does embrace,

He climbs into my pocket, and huddles closely there,

Amongst the pennies and the tissues, he doesn't have a care,

His job is not to judge me, even when things do look bleak,

No matter my mistakes, he always turns the other cheek...

He's there every night when I'm down on my knees,

And helps me tackle life's trials with the greatest of ease,

Here again every morning as I sit up to pray,

Helping me count every blessing, and greet each new day,

There are times in our lives when we all need a lift,

And my days are much sweeter because of this gift...

Over my shoulder my glimpses do streak,

But as hard as I try, he'll not let me peek,

Every time the wind gently whisps through my hair,

Between you and me, I know that he's there,

This God-sent sweet spirit, whose face I can't see,

My guardian angel watching over me.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Everybody come take my hand
We'll walk this road together, through the storm
Whatever weather, cold or warm
Just let you know that, you're not alone
Holla if you feel that you've been down the same road...
And I just can't keep living this way
So starting today, I'm breaking out of this cage
I'm standing up, Imma face my demons
I'm manning up, Imma hold my ground
I've had enough, now I'm so fed up
Time to put my life back together right now" Eminem Not Afraid
