MDJunction to me

"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunnyfly)

Hi Jean:

I did use Lyric for a few months and it did help with the pain. It will take a few days to get used to it, but once it kicks in, its pretty good.

I know the feeling about having to cancel things. I was getting married when I found out I had lyme, I had to cancel a $6,000 honeymoon to Rivera Maya in Mexico, I'm still sick over that one.

My primary doctor was great in the beginning, but he feels there is no such thing as "Chronic Lyme" which we all know there is.

yes it takes over your life, but try hard not to let it. I still get up go to work, come home cook, clean take care of the house and LIE to everyone that I feel good when deep down inside I'm crying out in pain. Its hard I know...

This will get better in time. I was on an abx for 2 and 1/2 months and just had to stop due to a reaction, I am feeling better not great but better, you will get there also...

Vent anytime that is what we are here for

Julie

Lyme will not win, we will and we WILL…

Jean~

Believe me, I know the hell that this is. I really really do. It's hard because looking at most of us, you would never ever guess there is anything wrong. Have you looked into a LLMD in your area? I would take that list of symptoms, put a mark down by the ones you have (unfortunatly when I copy and pasted here, it triple copied I think for some reason) I still have to get back and fix that...been VERY sick lately.

Doxy is a good drug to start with, combined with biaxin. Unfortunatly, you will feel worse , becuase of the herx reaction. Don't be disapointed if your regular MD doesn't think lyme is a big deal. THey aren't trained to understand this, they think its no big deal, not very prominant, easily treated, etc.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

do not ask your doctor. Tell your doctor.remember knowbody will look out for you but you.Grab this and take hold of this yourself. Demand smart intelligent answers from your doc. If his knowledge is common and weak and sounds like he just read it out of his book, he probably did''remember its your health
