Hi All,

I've had a tough few days, but I was finally able to see my chiropractor and feel much better. I definitely recommend chiro.care.

For vertigo sufferers, the chiropractor completly got rid of my vertigo and vertigo symptoms. I used to have spells often and I haven't had one in months since seeing the chiro. Also, If I was in the middle of a spell, a chiro. visit would alleviate it.

It is really important to find a good chiro and one who knows about Lyme Disease. Most importantly because our bodies can't handle certain adjustments and may even cause worse pain or symptoms.

Happy New Year Everyone!

AMY

Like any field there are some who are really good and there are many who are just okay. I saw one for a couple of years and he helped with the "mom spots." Those places in our backs, necks, shoulders that go out of alignement from picking up, carrying the kids, grocieries, etc. BUT, he never took the time to help me with all the other aches and pains and as we know there are many associated with LD.

The chiro's(I see two, because they both have different strenghths) are totally committed to helping me with my symptoms and trying to figure out how to build and streghnthen my body. That is why it is soooo important to find someone who knows about LD and how it affects the body.

FYI, most insurance plans now cover chiro. care. Because my husband is a graduate student and I stay home with the kids I was able to sign a financial hardship contract with my chiro which provides me the opportunity to just pay a small fee for service. Point being, ask around and see who can offer you a similar service. Many times you can go for a consultation and once they hear your story then they decide they can help you physically and will want to help you financially. My chiro's felt so bad for me after hearing my story and examining my body that they worked out this plan with me.

I think many of us are at the point where we will try anything!

Take Care!

I have done the Chiropractor services and I can't describe how much better I felt. The relief does not last any longer than a day or two so I usually go three times a week, when I was going. My insurance only covers 20 a year so it didn't take me long to use it up. Its a new year so I cant wait to go back soon! If you are looking for a permanent fix this isnt it. It does help you function better when you feel so stiff and sore. I plan on using my 20 visits for times when I hurt to bad to move, that way I can use it through out the year instead of using it up right away.

Mine is the same I get 20 a year and only have to pay my co-pay which is $20.00 the rest is free.

The natural care my insurance does not pay for, but its not that expensive around 70.00 every 4 weeks. I start this on monday and will let you now if I see it working or not.

Abx are fine, but how long can one be on them. I myself do not beleive in the "REST OF OUR LIVES" first you would have no liver left. Lyme has done much damage already...

Something interesting tho.

Took my dog to the vet, was speaking to the vet (Who knew much more about lyme then my doctors) and he is researching lyme for me and hospitals here in Chicago that do lyme research on humans, he will be getting back to me next week or the week after. Also a friend of my husbands is a vet and we called him yesterday and he is also looking into this for us.

So hopefully there is light at the end of this LONG tunnel.

Julie

Thats amazing. I just took my dog to the vet yesterday and they had posters and pamplets of Lymes Disease information and she even said you need to watch out for this. I just laughed and said believe me I know more about it than you think! She is truly amazed that no human doctors believe this can really exist in Ohio. Maybe if we were all dogs we would have gotten treated quicker!
