Help!! I need re-assurance!!!!

Hi everyone! I hope all the Moms out there had a wonderful Mothers day.... I enjoyed every second with my precious children.

SO, I know I have been needy lately but I am scared. My daughter (with Lyme and Babs and is finally taking a good ABX combo) keeps getting worse.

I know, LLMD says it will get worse b4 it gets better. But it doesnt make it any easier. I am so afraid these diseases are going to take her away from me Sad

Every day it's something new... twitching, pain in new places, now her arms are so "heavy and weak" she can barely lift them.

I know she had a big day.. big wknd, actually, so she is very tired. But I am so afraid I am going to wake up and she will be paralyzed or something horrible.

I wish I could make this all go away for her! It is heart wrenching to see her suffer. I dont know how much longer I can be strong..

I keep it hidden and cry myself to sleep at night. I dont want her to know she is so sick. Please everyone, I guess all I can ask is for your prayers and support......lots of prayers!

Please and thank you and you guys are the best!

Hello, I'm so very sorry to hear about ur daughter struggling. I have a son who is

7 & daughter who is 4 so as a Mother I sympathize. Its hard to see ur child not

Well " having to be strong. I imagine it takes its toll on u to see ur baby have

Such difficulties instead of "normal" kid issues. My thoughts & prayers r with ur

Daughter as well as urself & I pray all the very best. I see my doc on Mon & will be finding out what tests he would like my 2 children to be tested for. How old is ur daughter & when did she get sick & test positive? How long has she been on treatment? I'm just curious & if u wish to not share details I understand.

I m sorry for all the pain & difficulty u r having to endure as well as ur daughter. Such a tough road, please keep the faith that everything will turn out just fine. I know easier said then done.

I surround my children with white light of protection & emerald green light of health & healing. I also do that for others & myself. Sending positive light to u & ur daughter. On a positive note I hope u enjoyed a pleasant Mothers Day!

Take care & hold on, u will get thru this bumpy ride so will ur child. One thing I can relate to is watching my Mother worry about me & my health since birth & I too worry about my kids having any of my illness passed onto them. If u wish

To chat please feel free to do so. I m a good listener & m sympathetic in what ur dealing with emotionally.

Take care & blessings, michelle

HUGS and SUPPORT!! When I first came here, I was so terrified too!!

I was watching my kid go down hill and nothing seemed to be helping until about 3 weeks into the first antibiotics, then things started getting better. She's been improving, but it's slow. There were definite improvements over time, but it's overall slow.

She is in second year of treatment and in a second remission. She's started to be interested in living again.

What are you doing to detox?

Here's what we did:

1) drink her weight in ounces of filtered water per day.

Heathers' dad recommended squeezing lemon into water, but she didn't like it, so we settled for the filtered water

2) Welchol, binds bio toxin in gut (see Burrasano's guidelines)

3) clean up diet, no simple sugar, lean meats, more green vegetables, luckily she likes broccoli and lately she's been into salads, spinach was good for awhile, so were green beans, fresh fruit but in limited amounts.

4) Hot bathtub soak with epsom salts used to make her feel better. As she got better, she lost interest in hot tub soaks, but for the first 5 months she really wanted them and stayed in tub for hours.

Once we got to use a hottub/bathtub, it really made her feel better to have the hot water jets and epsom salts. DO NOT leave her alone in tub, watch CAREFULLY so she doesn't get too weak or stuck!!

I would always stay very close by just outside the door and check in on her frequently, I left a big school bell on the side of the tub for her to ring in case she wanted me.

I didn't trust my darling hubby on this either. He's good for tons of stuff and he is brilliant and a super dad, but he has a different idea than I do about what "watch closely" means.

Don't run errands or do housework if she's going to soak, stay close by and monitor!

You can drown in only a couple of inches of water and they're weak from the disease to start with.

Hang On!!

Missy33, we also use Probitoics and have not had any trouble with being on antibiotics! we use Florastor and Udo's Super-8 high potency (in the refrigerator case).

Have you read Pamela Weintraub's book "Cure Unknown? It's an excellent read.

Missy, it is impossible to be too needy here ~ That is what family is for !!!

Detoxing is so important ...

I can tell you some of the things that have worked for me, starting with the simple stuff you can do anytime -

- Brushing your skin when it is DRY ( not in the shower ) - get a good stiff body brush and brush everyday prior to showering - the skin is your largest organ, and brushing helps get toxins out and improve blood and lymph flow

- Juicing ~ if you have a juicer, put in celery, cucumber, parsley, cilantro, and any leafy greens with some apple or carrot - this helps your liver

- Detox Foot Patches ~ I admit, I was skeptical when I first tried these, but the good ones work !!! ~ The only brand I would recommend is the Japanese company Kenrico ~ you put these little pads ( they are filled w/ herbs ) on while you sleep, and they pull toxins out ~ I've used the GOLD and the SUPER ZEO models ... You can order them here :

- Epsom Salt Baths

- Infrared Sauna ~ great detox

- the PEKANA "Big Three" Detox kit ~ this is great ~ 3 homeopathic herbal concoctions that help your body detox and get rid of the bad stufff

- And if you are feeling toxic, and are willing to try, I would highly highly recommend going to a specialist for colonics ... This is probably the single best detox thing you can do

Thank you sooo much everyone! I just needed to hear a few people tell me "She will get through this" The tips for de-toxing are great, some I never knew so thanks!

Right now she gets epsom salt baths and as much water as I can get her to drink... we do add lemon to some of it and we call it a "fear factor challenge" lol! I can definitely brush her skin and I will look up that link about the foot patches.... great ideas everyone, thanks again!

Maka, my oldest daughter got sick last Spring. We toook her to every specialist under the sun , then I learned about LLMD's in July. In August, my middle child became very sick for about a week. We were told it was a virus but it left her tired and weak all the time.

By Sept. I took all three of my kids to an LLMD. Alll three came back positive for Lyme.

They all started on Amoxicillin.... over four months my son and oldest daughter improved so much.... but not my middle one.

I kept having them all retested for co-infections and other illnesses, and finally by the fourth time she came back positive for Babesia. I knew she had a co-infection when she didnt improve like her siblings, not I had an answer.

This was only realized about 2 months ago. Doc wanted to see if just Azythro would get both diseases, but after a month nothing got better. So we added Mepron and NOW I can clearly see she is herxing and symptoms are getting worse.

Jensen, she has been on her new treatment plan for about 2 weeks now, so you have given me hope that I may start to see some improvement in the next week or two! My husband and I both have Lyme and Babesia as well, but we are healing completely different.

His symptoms are not nearly as bad or diverse as mine. I am sure he will be off meds much sooner than me!

Thank you everyone for all the prayers and hugs and love! Like I said before, I would be lost without you guys!
