Here's my two cents, My doc used a different lab and I tested positive for LD, bartonella, ehrlichia, babesia, HHV-6 and HHV-7. I was tested later and also had EBV. I think the doctor your using needs to think outside of the box and look at the clinical picture. A doctor should not rely on lab tests alone to make their diagnoses. Lymies are often so immunocompromised, we have a little bit of everything, it seems.
Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.

I had very high EBV titers, but also tested postive for LD. no lyme test is totaly accurate, lyme is mainly a clinical dx (based on symptoms), but if she's a tripple positive...I doubt that it's false. Also, having EBV could mean she has active viruses.... (I had steroid injections into my spine, and it opened the door to hell for me, awakening dormant viruses), which is another battle many with lyme have to deal with.

Please pm me, I am a group leader/moderator I can find you a lyme friendly doctor if you need one.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

I see your point. People say that igenex has the most accurate results, but how do we really know. Are they only the most accurate results because it is what we want to hear? I think that since we all know that the tests are completely inaccurate how can igenex be the most accurate? I believe in treating lyme disease one way or another and seeing if the symptoms improve. What has never made sense to me is that when you get a neg or positive eliza test they still retest with the western blot. Why do the eliza at all?
