I feel sort of stupid asking this question, because I know every med affects everyone differentlly, but was just wondering if anyone experienced the following:

I started IV Rocephin 19 days ago and up until last week it was nothing but good!! HUGE decrease in pain level and fatigue after about day 5 (haven't taken my trustworthy Tramadol in a week!). Was not exactly my old self, but the best in a REALLY long time. Anyway, starting on about the 13th day, I've been getting chills, lots more muscle twitching, temperature adjustment issues (hot and cold) and some disturbing brain zap type activity (only at night in bed). I suspect it's the Rocephin at work, and luckily I see my LLMD this week.

Hi alto,

I'm on Rocephin also and for me my herx's on this are very different than any other herx all neuro with twitches, headache from hell, head swell/pressure and I was always initially bedbound for a few days every month for the first 4 months an dnow they are less and Im more mobile.

Perhaps a herx as it packs a punch but again very different than bicillin which gave me a different herx (very achey/flu like).

Your LLMD will be able to confirm but it does sound like its doing what it says on the tin.

X Ria
