MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

This has been a very physically, mentally and emotionally taxing couple of weeks and now all I want to do is sleep. I did the dishes today...one pan twice and folded a load of laundry. I just want to sleep for about a month...the depression is creeping back in...does anybody have something else for me to focus on?

Hi Tonia,

Maybe your body is trying to tell you something, and you truly need the rest?

Have you been spending time on your artwork?

You talked about that helping you before.

I called into work today, and I slept all day long.

I haven't done that in the longest time!

I just was so darn exhausted.

You HAVE been through a lot in the last few weeks, Tonia, and really let out a lot of your emotions, which alone can be draining.

Just be really kind and gentle with yourself right now and if you need to rest, try to do that.

May be just what you need for a few days?

I am no expert, but just some thoughts for you, my friend.

Hope you find a way too feel better soon.

Best Wishes,

Hope :)
