MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

Julie, is it that people aren't spacing paragraphs or is it like a default accident type thing? I haven't noticed.

I noticed that I can't leave a space between paragraphs like we used to. See I'll try it here (it'll prolly work now)

There should be a space above this.

Julie, if you change the formatting could you move the page numbers up above the Quick reply? You know, when there's more than one page of comments? Those page numbers

I don't know how often I reply to something only to realise there's 3 more pages I missed and the conversation has totally changed by then. lol

Another Problem..when you type a reply and want to edit it before you click submit and fix some typing errors you can not do it..u know click the cursor where u want it...skip past stuff and backspace your error out...its a no go for me..so you have to post what you type the first time no editing.

you guys should pm Roy with your concerns, this is all his area. I don't have any control over it. I'm sure he's still working out some glitches

I'm not having any of the problems you guys mentioned. But I'll tell you several things we do to my compy regularly, plus 3 things we just added. I just got a new vid card, 1 gig memory, plus a new sound card. The vid card really made a HUGE improvement on how I see things on my pages, it made a big difference. Also, the memory makes things move more quickly and makes it much faster, especially with dial-up service. The sound card didn't really change much, but I notice things quicker if something changes, I get a beep...Not sure if you guys have that capacity or not, but any alerts are now more noticeable.

Also, some things I do on a regular basis is I have my virus updating automatically, plus I scan it at least once a week, if not more...I also delete a lot of junk, do the disk cleanup on the computer no less than once a week. If I'm navigating a bunch of pages, I do it more often. Sometimes just deleting cookies, clearing browsing history, and getting rid of stuff will help you see pages better, believe it or not, cuz your compy's no longer having to work hard to remember everything or process as much. Not always, but sometimes. If you're using IE, if you go to the tools bar, you can reformat stuff to help you out...Some virus programs can help with that, too...

Sometimes if you're working on an old compy, you simply have to update, cuz a reformat of a page can screw up how it's viewed. The code is just too new. Your vid card may not be able to handle it. Or you may not even have a vid card. Older compy's don't always have them, unless you got yours specifically for a purpose, like playing games or something. If you didn't need one, you may not have it. Not all compy's have one, go figure. You can check your stats that came with it to see if you even have a vid card, and you may be able to install a new one, they're really cheap for a good one, and I can tell you where to get one, if you need to. Sometimes that will help. And by cheap, I mean, $35 after shipping! (Some older compy's are harder to install, so be sure you know what you're doing or know someone who CAN install!) Hope that will help. If you want to PM me, I can tell you some things to do that may help with clearing up some stuff? *hugs*

Just because it's impossible doesn't mean it can't happen.

I'm not a doc, so anything I say is my opinion only. Nothing I say is meant as offense, I offer what I can as help.

I believe in educating myself on all my medical issues and being my own advocate, for no one else with do that on my behalf. I recommend we all do the same!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Perhaps I truly am insane for expecting these docs to listen to me when I say the same things repeatedly to no avail? LOL. I am tired of seeking out new docs and getting the same result time and again...Forgive me if I seem bitter some days.

I spoke to Roy about this, and they said its fine. I do enter twice to start a new paragraph but it does not appear that way after I sent. Fluffys email is all together along with the rest....I have no idea...

Just entered twice to start a new paragraph I bet it does not work
