Someone several months back said apple cider vinegar helps to stop ringing in the ears.

Everyday for two weeks I have been drinking apple cider vinegar/water/honey and it is working.

THe loud pitch has stopped in both ears, my right ear has no ringing and my left has a dull ring still.

At first it tasted soooo bad, now I like the taste. The raw honey helps with the taste and is also an antibacteria agent.

Cool Cool Cool

THis is also good for biofilm

With honey. Can also do without honey that's how iv had it for years. Yes @

First it tasted awful, now I really enjoy it & also drink lemon juice in water as well. I think I will try with the honey

Again, its been awhile since I had it that way. I'm glad u r feeling benefits

From it. I also take baths in it too. It has many healing properties!!!!!

Hope ur doing well. Take care, Michelle

Makal, what was your shaman like?? I had to look that word up??

What else did he recommend??

Hippocrates the father of medicine poured vinegar on his food and used salt to kill parasites and bacteria. this was a common practice in europe for 1000s of years.

From what I have read apple cider vinegar is good for building your immune system (put good bacteria back in your gut).

Back before penicillin hospitals uses "hospital grade" honey on wounds to kill bacteria.

LOL look at most of my past posts, I do this all the time, it gets rid of the overload of symptoms for me.

Again, 2oz of Braggs ACV,4oz of water, heat in micro for one minute..add little honey, stevia, agave, what ever to help the taste...(NOT SUGAR)....

I use it when my symptoms are bad and that is usally before bed..

I sleep good.and my symptoms die down at least to half manageable...

Some say it is a good detox...I also during the day have good results with Aloe Vera Whole Leaf Juice..

Many here have listened...but not tried...or have tried and cry over the taste...Hey! it's not my favorite tea...but...it works!Smile Whistling Silly

Wlkthlne,

Alright- I am going to try this. Actually, my Mom has been telling me to try this.

My Mom has an old friend of hers- who is 94 - and attributes his health/old age to drinking this Apple Cider Vinegar each day. He is never sick, still drives and lives on his own etc...

It is also supposed to help with GERD (reflux).

I'm heating up the water as we speak!Smile

Jackie

Jeanette- you can find it in most grocery stores or health food stores. I think it's just with the oils/vinegars etc..

Yeah, shoreline, I found it by accident, before I came to MDJ.

I was researchin' to death on this net to find answers to help me with Lyme...

I hit upon the Braggs site! Awesome site, and remember my "farmers" market having tons of Braggs products..

It was a hit with many people..so I figured what the heck...I try it..I happen to try it one time when my symptoms where...bad..

With in an hour...they calmed down a bit...My research says..it gets our body back to Alkilne...wich is good.

The "claim" is that our body like to go into Acidic mode alot..and that is a feeder or helper to our disease...

Heck what do I know! I do it cuz it helps me!W00t

Jennette... shoreline is right, you can find it in almost any store...When I ran out I tried shop rite brand...it was "ok" I was glad to find and go back to Braggs...

I also like Braggs spice mix..it as kelp(idione) I use that on my salad with Braggs "Aminio Acid" spray.

That is an awesome salad dressing! I also squeeze a lemon in it.. Now I need to say this...

When I have this salad sometimes I get immediate head pressure..but by the time I finish it, my head feels more "clear"...

Don't ask...I guess I am weird in things like that. I think maybe Bart(co-infection) does not like it..

Who knows...everyone responds a little different with this disease...

I found this on Jenna's Lyme Blog- lymediseaseresource.com

Vinegar and Honey Spice Up The Salad, and May Ease The Symptoms of Chronic Lyme Disease

"It is true that today’s most celebrated salads frequently borrow the flavor of oils, honey and vinegar. But not the type of health foods we are talking about here.

First of all, apple cider vinegar is a folk medicine cure used for hundreds of years.

It is made by fermenting apple juice and acts as an antiseptic, and antibiotic that can actually kill the bacteria that causes Lyme disease early in the infection.

Apple cider vinegar has also been used to treat acid reflux, arthritis, diabetes, and high blood pressure. (Note: Apple cider vinegar can irritate ulcers or heartburn.)

This is how it has been suggested to take apple cider vinegar for Lyme disease:

Use organic and unfiltered apple cider vinegar if possible (SEE BELOW), because it will not contain remnants of pesticides from sprayed apples. Mix one to three teaspoons of apple cider vinegar into an eight-ounce cup of water.

This can be sweetened with honey to taste. Drink before a meal three times a day. Use room temperature water, or hot water, which makes the drink taste like a tangy tea.

Earlier blog posts have reported on the amazing benefits of honey which falls for the most part on deaf ears because honey is considered a sugar and sugar is evil…

the more I look into this amazing product, the more I can see that pure non-poisoned honey is much more beneficial than harmful unless you consume mass-produced plastic honey.

I continue to study the different types of honey, and what is interesting (and makes perfect sense) is that the bees pollinating the clover or flowers nearby will contaminate their own honey if the nearby crops are fertilized.

So essentially, to get pure honey, you need to get it from a non-commercial area where the bees can pollinate pure flowers.

Not only do we need to worry about ingesting yet more poison into our bodies due to geographically undesirable bees – as we search for another cure from Mother Earth, but we have to be extremely astute when evaluating the processing and genetic modification.

I have decided that for my own consumption, even though it is a bit more expensive, Manuka Honey from New Zealand is without equal, and a company that packages it called Wedderspoon also sells through Amazon.

The company guarantees that all Wedderspoon Manuka honeys are not Genetically Modified, are antibiotic free, unpasteurized, have not be industrially blended with any other honeys and each batch can be traced directly back to the beekeeper.

There are different strengths and varieties so I will tell you what I favor is the strongest, Active 16+ which you can find here. This is nothing like the honey we are all used to. The enzymes are instantly bio-available and will help to heal your body internally as well as externally being reliable for wound management.

Internally : Taken by the teaspoonful up to 3 times a day depending on your condition, the OMA 16+ is what we recommend to aid in the treatment of gastro-intestinal disorders such as acid reflux, upset stomach, stomach ulcers, peptic ulcer, diverticulitis, ulcers colitis, irritable bowel syndrome and even heartburn.

For premium organic, AND economical ($17 for Bragg cider vinegar) through Amazon go here."

Smile Jackie

Jackie, great to see more are looking at Jenna's Blog.

She does have alot of good facts. I found her site through Dr. Mecolla's site, both are good to get the basic "low down"...

Yes, honey is not "that" bad, do have to watch where you get it..I also have the pollen, royal jelly.. I use once and a while...

Like anything, each of us must be careful and "check it out" do a trial..small amount...be sure all is ok...

I do not understand peoples "deaf" ear to ACV or honey, been doing it myself for 2 years...

In my opinion this dis-ease means EVERY item, book, food, flavor, spice, product, etc must be concidered.

Thanks Jackie for adding your findings..perhaps more will look into the Braggs site as well...don't have to buy...just educate yourselves...

No stone unturned... Yes, sometimes the more I learn the more I am confused..but that means, I must research and learn more until I understand...

All you guys are great!

wlk HI! Your quote below:

"No stone unturned... Yes, sometimes the more I learn the more I am confused..but that means, I must research and learn more until I understand..."

THIS IS WISDOM SPEAKING! I have Braggs ACV. I use it in cooking with any recipe that would call for vinegar.. I use it in marinades for my meat sometimes too.

LOVE IT!

With Him we "live" no matter the circumstances. At His feet peace of mind can be found. Peace that passes all understanding is my quest now and forever.

Numbers 6:24-26
"The LORD bless you and keep you;the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."
