Hi everyone,

I am new to this support group my name is shelly. Does anyone suffer from earpain? I have had earaches on and off for all these years, I was just wondering if anyone else had that problem. Anyway Im having a bad day! Im on treatment now and have been for almost 2 years and I still have symptoms. Sometimes I dont know if it is my lyme or something else. Im frustrated! Has anyone had success with alternative treatments? I sometimes dont want to be here anymore, but I know there is a reason why I am but I hate feeling this way!!!!

Hi Shelly,

I'm so sorry you're feeling bad. It's hard to stay positive when you're feeling bad. But you can do it.

I'm pretty new on here and have found that everyone here is a great support and is able to help you with your questions. Hopefully, you have good days that will overcome the bad ones.

I have earaches also. I know it really hurts. It comes and goes. I can look at the list of the symptons and my body has experienced every single one of them at one time or another. It's really hard to fight this and sometimes staying positive is even harder. You're right there is a reason for everything. While we're going through it, it's hard to see why but there's definitely light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your spirits up. I know it's so hard but believe that you will have alot of great days ahead.

Stay strong and fight hard.

Hugs,

Pam

Hi Shelley,

I haven't had much pain but definately have had weird stuff going on with my ears. Tingling, feeling like something's moving around in there etc. My doctor had a look but they look fine.

I'm on alternative herbal medicine and many people here are. Some are on antibiotics combined with herbs. I've only started a few months ago but have seen some improvement. I started with a type of Cat's Claw called Samento. I'd recommend it to anyone. I'm sure others will have tips for you too. Just hang in there, things will get better!

Hey Shelley,

I do have a lot of problems with ear pain. I think some of it for me has to do with problems with TMJ. Since I got my dental appliance to wear at night, I feel a lot better! Not nearly as much ear OR jaw pain. I still have SOME issues, but not nearly as bad. You might look into that, especially if you're having jaw issues as well...

I am doing an all-natural protocol, NOT under a doctor's care, as I can't find one who seems to want to help me yet, or at least not one whom I can afford who wants to help me, but I am having some success. I have only been doing it a little under 8 weeks, and I think I'm doing pretty well so far.

If you want to talk more, feel free to PM me anytime.

*hugs*

Jen

Just because it's impossible doesn't mean it can't happen.

I'm not a doc, so anything I say is my opinion only. Nothing I say is meant as offense, I offer what I can as help.

I believe in educating myself on all my medical issues and being my own advocate, for no one else with do that on my behalf. I recommend we all do the same!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Perhaps I truly am insane for expecting these docs to listen to me when I say the same things repeatedly to no avail? LOL. I am tired of seeking out new docs and getting the same result time and again...Forgive me if I seem bitter some days.

OMG - I have had some earaches that have dropped me to the floor crying - and it also sometimes feels like something is in there...

As far as treatment, it is different for each person...I was treated for 12 years straight and was only symptom free 1 time for about 8 months then had a HUGE crash...

For some it takes a long time for others, they can get better pretty quick. Alt and conventional methods both need to be tried.... You have to find what works for you...

Ear aches are so unpredictable too. One day, you'll be dying of ear pain and the next, nothing. I don't get it. Advil helps a little with the inflammation.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that someone used garlic and peroxide for earache for their kids and it really worked. Does anyone remember where I can find that. My son has an earache and I'm trying to find out where I read it. Thanks a bunch.

We just use peroxide with a little water. Tilt head pour into ear lift head and let it drain out...You don't use a lot tho...I also use this for wax build up
Lyme will not win, we will and we WILL…
