Well went to the doctor today regarding a few issues.

1. Spleen is enlarged – sending me to a specialist to figure out why, lyme related, not sure, I don’t think so, this has happened to me when I was 20. He is pretty concerned about this.

2. White blood count very high 19,500, again I have had a high white blood count since birth, no one can figure it out. But he said he will…And believe me, he will.

3. Took 9 tubs of blood to check for various things as lately I have been not feeling so hot (but I have been dealing with health issues regarding my mother) very stressful watching your mother die in front of you….And trying to find a job and no job to be found and dealing with Jim’s mom in KY who is also very ill. Just got home from that trip.

4. Spoke about my lyme in length, he said, once lyme always lyme but can go into remission just like cancer…He was happy I brought my chart with me regarding my lyme symptoms, he does believe I am in remission. He said at any given time, it can show its face and when I feel it is happening to call him ASAP and will send me to an allergist regarding my abx issues, happy I see a doctor that works with "natural stuff, has been in contact with him regarding my treatment. Happy at what is does for me...

I have to tell you I LOVE my doctor spent again 45 minutes with me regarding my health issues and how to deal with the stress I have regarding my mother. He is a very understanding doctor, even when I started to cry over the stress I have been under, he said "cry all you want Julie" and I will listen, you don't get that anymore with doctors, I'am very lucky.

Ok, that is my story for tonight, off to eat dinner that Jim made while I was gone with a nice chilled bottle of wine that I really need tonight (ok not the whole bottle that is)...LOL

Jim is off this Thanksgiving first time in over 5 years so we will be spending it with the neighbors (who are like family) mom is going out to my sisters for a few days...She is worried to have her as she is worried if something happens to her, so I just made a chart for her of all her meds, doctors, etc....She will do just fine and the break will do me some good...Drink, eat and be merry...

Hun, I'm sorry you're dealing with so much, and faced with more health concerns on top of it. Please continue to keep us informed so we can do our best to help lift you up. You deserve a break, my dear, but know how strong you must be to survive all you have in life.
