MDJunction to me

mabri"When I was diagnosed about 18 months ago with fibromyalgia, I didn't know where to turn. I got on my computer and looked for a support group where I could talk to other people with the same disease and get some help...Information, suggestions, mostly just what I can do now that I have this.....disorder/disease/syndrome...I didn't even know what to call it. I found MDJ, and yes, there was a support group for fibro. I started a post, and figured I would never get an answer. However, very quickly I was welcomed in, and became really involved in the group. I received help, support, friendship and the feeling of being truly cared about by these strangers who had become like family to me. Now, I have been here for about a year and a half...I have become a group leader, and love every minute of it. It is so wonderful to be able to help others. I still receive help and answers from the members in this group. The fibromyalgia is where I go to help, support, listen, care and even laugh. I don't know what I would do without this group." Hi everyone,

Yes this is my second post in the past 5 minutes.

i am panicked at the the medication protocol and willingly bringing on new symptoms and old by taking the meds but obviously have to.

i am just scared of the die off period. The worse before better period.

I know I have to go through that before i can heal.I just feel uhhh its gonna get worse than it already is!!!

However, I asked doc if he could put me on natural antibiotics instead of conventional. He said not right now.

He now sees the need for full fledge heavy duty antiobics. (FINALLY!!!) But i dont want to and I asked for the natural but it was a NO.

I get bad candida flares because I have both things going on.One kills lyme, and the one that does will flare my candida. So I have to take the nystatin (candida killer) on top of the lyme killer.

I really feel my body cant handle all that, seriously.

I feel like Im dying already and I have been breaking out with more sweats and nautious feelings then i can handle.I htin ka viral thing my body may be trying to fight right now too.

I have kids to also care for so I gott abe able to atleast get them a dinner when they get home from school.

would I be so wrong to do one treatment at a time regardless that a doc prescribed this.

The lyme treatment being top priority of course

hes trying to help but damn I feel i gotta walk in this daily and I think it might be too much.

I also will be starting hormones he told me to try for my hormone issues.

hi lilly....sucks don't it....i also have two young ones to take care of, and want nothing more than to beat this for their sake.

and sometimes it is a bitch just to go to the grocery store, and make something presentable for dinner.....i feel ya!

i am also feeling like my meds are kicking my ass, and making me feel worse. i also have candita flare-ups....

and i am a guy! but for some reason i am susceptible. but yeah, i feel like crap about an hour after I take my meds, and am not sure if it is the die-off or not.....hope so, those nasty little boogers.

Have faith, you are likely a lot stronger than you give yourself credit. good advice for myself actually. hang in their kid.

Peace, Brad

Bumping this up for Lilly, as I don't have the answer to this one.

Maybe give your doc a call and tell him/her how you are feeling?

Did you tell him/her how you are feeling?

Lilly, hang in there. I also fear that "worse before better" period, but keep looking for the light at that end of this difficult tunnel!

Best Wishes,

Hope :)

lilly, how long have you been sick? if it's very recent, i agree with your llmd; hit it HARD NOW with antibiotics so youwon't have this the rest of your life as most of us have.

discuss the candita with him also.

here's info from my personal collection files ...

Lilly-

look to aloe vera juice and aloe vera gel caps for candida relief. Also olive leaf extract and oh, you could try some colloidal silver!!! That works great for yeast and lyme!

Good luck..

peace

Hang in there Lilly, my husband is on a ton of meds right now for lyme and bart, his llmd also threw the nystatin in the mix as well. He has felt like crap since starting treatment on 12/7/10.

I do see he looks better and I notice he is doing more things so he is trying to stay the course. He does not like to add things for fear of the reaction.

We just added a drainage/detox kit to the mix and I just got him to up it to the 2xs a day. She wanted to add some homeopathic stuff to help him detox and build his immune system.

Next month he goes to bicillin shots. I am a little nervous, if he is feeling like crap on the orals, not sure what the injections will make him feel like. We just pray better.

You have to listen to your own body. I can only imagine how scary it is but it is best to treat it aggressively now.

I am hoping we caught Tim's soon enough. We track symptoms back to late June early July.

Stay strong and talk to your llmd if you are concerned.

lymestreet..I did the Bill shots..they worked well with the Lyme..in my opinion...

It did not do much in my opinion for Bart..But do feel that each time the treatment changed..I was beating down the demons more and more...

This dane' thing ain't cut and dry..I see where mixning up the mix..does help and work for some...

Best to you both

Anything I post or respond to comes from a Lyme and Bart victim himself. I am NOT a doctor. I do my own research for ME...I may share my findings and will post them. They are for general talk and vent...If a group leader feels the info is worth saving somewhere, they are more than welcome to do with it as they like. Wlk=)

WLK anything to get him over the hump. I have heard others say Bill was good for lyme.

I just hate this darn bart. Ughhhh I swear the more I read, I think the co infections are worse than the lyme.

Lymestreet.. Just to add..but sure you and the Mr. know...it is a pennicillin...I had to be tested to be sure I was not allergic to penn...

Before I could take the Bill shots...

for me it was the Doxy/Rif combo right after the Bill shots that helped me the most..got me over the "hump" as you put it...

Again best to you both...and I agree...these co-infections are for sure no-body's friends...Unsure
