Anyone know anything about the relationship between or have experience with Lyme Disease and Selective Mutism.

My youngest still refused test for lyme even though it is transmitted in utero has been diagnosed with Selective Mutism. Does anyone have it with lyme or have a child with in utero transmition with it. Any information would be appreciated.

The only information I have found is a Video from a fellow lyme patient who was diagnosed with it as a child. I have posted it on my profile.

Thank you

I am a trained child therapist. I've treated kids with selective mutism and having lyme myself, I see how the two diagnoses could be confused with each other. What do you mean by your youngest refused the test?
