MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

I've been on my doxy for about 4 wks now and I'm getting ready to retest for Lyme. A few nights a ago I experienced what I later found out were 3 seizures. I tested positive for Lyme antibiodies, Elichlidious, Babesious, and cat sratch fever. We know I've had lyme since the age of 9, my doc just hopes to get a positive test for the bacteria for CDC results. Having trouble getting insurance to pay for anything! Anyways off subject, I wonder are the seizures a sign I'm getting worse, or are the the meds maybe starting to work?

I really hate to say one way or the other. I know I've experienced a lot of mental/brain issues since starting treatment. mild amnesia being one of them, and mild encephaltiis. I had a "dream" like feeling for a couple days, and took it as spirocete die off in the brain. Do you do any sort of detox? What has your doctor said?
Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.
