A lot of great info here... My floaters come & go, and change in their intensity, color, and everything. Most of the, they are the dots, but I have been getting more squigglies that yeah, now remind me of what spirochetes look like, and they all sort of 'swim' through my field of vision. Usually these are light, but I have had them be black,.. like the mosiquito effect mentioned. Not sure if I've had the heatwave thing or not,.. maybe.

Does anybody know yet,... are we actually seeing the spirochettes??? Oooooooh, please don't tell me that!

Can I ask, have you seen a eye doctor just to make sure there is nothing wrong with your eyes???? I never had the floaters...

Good point, Julie,... I am overdue. Although, I haven't mentioned the floaters to my eye doctors before, I haven't had any issues brought up by them with my eyes other than that I have a stigmatism and am at higher risk for Glaucoma due to having Grave's Disease. I know that some floaters are natural for everyone, or so I've read, but who knows... I am due to go back in and have them checked, so thatnks for the reminder. I will ask him, and report back!

Oh, almost forgot, too,.. the pain has eased quite a LOT since I cut my Synthroid way back. I actually quit taking it for several days just to see what would happen, and I got relief so I think that was exaggerating the symptoms. Not the sole cause, but adding to it. Talked to my LLMD about this Tuesday. Oh, I'm a fun one for him to figure out, LOL!

Yikes, Beauty. I'm no expert but I don't think it's a good idea to play with your sythroid without getting a blood test to see if it needs adjusting. And if you stop taking it or cut back and then go for a blood test it will throw the blood test off and the doctor will end up giving you the wrong dosage. And that can cause all kinds of worse trouble. Symptoms of too much sythroid can be a lot like Lyme. Anxiety, hyperactivity, insomnia etc. So you may be taking too much, but maybe not. Only the blood test can tell you for sure.

My own tests have been changing recently. I don't know if it's caused by the herbal meds I'm on or what but my doctor is checking my blood every 3 months now.

My eyes give me trouble too. Floaters, stinging, etc. Last night I tried putting samento on my eyelids to see if it would help. I didn't think it would be smart to put it right into my eyes. It did seem to help but of course it'll take a few tries to see if it was a coicidence or not.

Thanks, Bonita,

No worries, I had already talked about it thoroughly with my doctor. I've been taking it for 8 years, and so I've grown really familiar with the symptoms of too much or too little. The problem came in whereas my other doctor, because my test results had jumped, increased the dosage, but not in the smaller increments that should be done. She did a stronger increase, and it built up, and I seriously was about ready to claw my eyes out I was in so much pain, and it felt so much like when I had Grave's Disease. I talked to my new doctor about this, and I was going to be going in for my new labs, but I couldn't get through the weekend in waiting to get back to the old doc so I let off the meds for a few days, and got almost instant relief. not 100% because it's not all from the meds, but it's a huge difference. I had the new doc include labs for my thryoid even though we knew I hadn't taken the Sunthroid for a few days. They wanted to see what my body naturally does after missing it. I'm going to be retesting with the higher dosage again so we know exactly where I'm falling, but obviously I have to take it consistantly again for a bit before I do that. We're sort of "testing" this with both labs and 'cause & effect'. I'm in good hands.

I'm glad you didn't put the Samento directly into your eyes,.. yikes, don't think the alcohol in it would feel too good, hun! You be careful, too, okay? I know, we're all always worrying about eachother on here.... I love that. Having people to turn to, to lean on... the support is so wonderful.

I better get off of here... Got to get things in order for the vaca, and I'm moving at a snail's pace, as usual, LOL
