Betty’s suggested posting guidelines:

Many of members have neuro lyme, and it is hard to read long solid block text and be able to comprehend; example, me, 40 yrs. neuro chronic lyme, so we are able to comprehend and read. Then we can assist and guide you ok.

please post in short paragraphs like you see below or look at a few other posts, but we neuro folks need them short.

1-2 sentences MAX and hit ENTER TWICE to doublespace between each paragraph. hugs DO NOT BREAK UP THE SENTENCE THOUGH…we neuros lose our train of thought if it is broken up in the middle unless it goes on FOREVER!

For easier reading, please edit your post. You can break up your longer paragraphs into smaller paragraphs. Please hit “enter” key twice after each paragraph, also.

Go to left hand corner; click edit send. Then go to bottom and click SUBSCRIBE TO THIS DISCUSSION.

Thank you for posting in a manner that makes it easier for all to read and help others.

Tricia,

One question- did your Bartonella titer of 512 say that it was positive...I had one through Quest that only reports the titer if it's above 256- and it was negative

I then had a test through MDL that was positive so I was treated with Rifampin/Doxy for Bart.

What did your doctor say about the results?

Jackie

trica...are you asking a "trick" question?Wink

Umm I am going by what I have seen many write and what some LLMD's have said....

Lyme and Bart work hand in hand..that is how I read it.

another words..you put most of your effort in treating Bart...think ya got it under controll...then the Lyme comes out and say...."hello" how the heck are ya..

and it goes back and forth with the two so called friends....

I am on a doxy and rif protocal, I know for a fact it is kicking the Bart into next week....but hoping it will also punch the lyme too....

I am like a seasaw(spell?) I feel I am 80% but can't get a jump on 85..opps, fell..back to 75..grrrrrrahhh

time for some other kickers...IFR sauna portable, just got it...and a Rife mashine is coming soon.

Just tired of the sh.. I was a fighter the day I was born.....so...bring it on!

WTL,

Are you talking about people who get Bart from a tick? That it has to be joined with Lyme? I was wondering about his myself.

I thought from reading some of the links given on this forum, that Bartonella is often and normally transmitted from cat scratches, and that Lyme does not have to be present.

Not trying to negate what you say, just want to be clear, as I am confused about this disease still.

Tricia, all the best to you in your treatment, and lets pray it gets you well!

I wish I had solutions for everybody here who is suffering, but I am still hunting for them myself and seem to be more of a student on this board than a teacher. All I have to offer is my experience, support, and prayers based on what I have learned in my recovery. I am not a physician.
