I have been aware recently that my blood pressure has been going up after years of it being in the vicinity of, for instance, 105-110/60-70. Now all of a sudden it is up near 130. Also my ALT, liver value, is up. I have gone through my past reports (I get a copy of them all) & see that these changes occurred right about the time that I started on the herbals & homeopathics. So I am thinking that this evidence would indicate that either it is the supplements that are causing these increases, or else something in my system. Now last time I had an appt with my LLMD's naturopath, he told me that my reactivity to Lyme was down from a 5 out of 10 to a 2.5. So that might ndicate that it is not a worsening Lyme that is doing this (I am negative for co-infections). That leaves either the Prima Una de Gato or the Artemisinin.

Does this resonate with anyone? Has anyone seen blood pressure %/or liver values increase after starting treatment?

Any input?

Pam

while we all love herbals, yes they do have side effects. I don't know what you are all taking. I'd research them and see side effects. just becuase it's herbal doesn't always mean safe. also a mild detox may help...liver, gall bladder, spleen detox.... but ask you doc. and no offense to docs reading this, buy lyme is a crap shoot...there is no majic bullet...otherwise we'd all be healthy

My liver shot up also. The Doc says it may be the Antibiotics or the Acetaminaphen. Are you taking any pain meds. Aslo,I take USANA essentials( antioxident tabs/ chelated minerals). But i never thought it might be something thats supposed to be good for you. I reccommend taking Milk Thistle for the Liver & Acidophilus for the prevention of yeast infections caused by the anibiotics. Men and Women both can get them in the intestines. See if this makes a diff.
