"Lyme Disease" (connievc)

MDJunction to me

ThereseML"When I first came to MDJ, I was in need of peer support in dealing with issues of my childhood abuse. I was moving away from the painful issues and trying to find an uplifting group of people to help me transition to a thriver in my life. I found that here. I also found a group of peers with Fibromyalgia and found the same uplifting experience there. My computer crashed and it was a while before I found my way back, this time with issues related to Parkinson's Disease. I had tried a few other support sites before reminding myself of MDJ. On those, I never got a reply. I finally found my way back here and again found very supportive, caring and inspiring people who made me feel like I was 'back home'. Indeed I am." (ThereseML)

It is a protocol that supposedly has cured hundreds of lyme patients in 3 weeks.

I know it sounds crazy but this disease is crazy.

My doc suggested trying it at one point in my treatment.

You basically take betaine hcl (stomach acid) to raise the levels to what they are in a 20 year old. This supposedly kills off microbes and bacteria but wont harm the good bacteria.

The lab that makes the pills is quantum research group i believe.

There is a 10 day prep period before the actual protocol begins.

It isnt very expensive and you can get the betaine anywhere but you have to take their activator pills with it.

It ends up being 27 pills 3 times per day.

It is not harmful.

That is all I know about it but apparently it has worked for many but not all...as with everything else we do...

Any links to this info? There are lots of different protocols, all have some kind of claim.

I would not "talk down" any of them. Many have helped many...

It comes to the question..will it help you? Seems some have good sucess while others don't???

We have...Salt/C.. coliodal silver... and so on...

I have never heard of this one you mention..

This looks and sounds like Butane...lol so does that mean..light a match and poof it's goneTongue

Sorry, I have raw humor...but like I said I would give anything the benifit of the doubt...

After all we are dealing with quite a weird demon..

Do you have any more info or links, I would take the time to check it out...

They are for general talk and vent...If a group leader feels the info is worth saving somewhere, they are more than welcome to do with it as they like. Wlk=)

LOL, ok if you had mentioned the Marshall protocal or the Hdro Acid Therapy I would have responded differently.

Funny from time to time I post some of Jenna's blog's here...

I read that Jenna tried it and suffered a two week herx.

but felt better after.

I will have to put this in my folder to take a close look at and study...

My LLMD is in one of the books...Interesting that he has not mentioned or tried this on his patients..

Or does he see my situation differently, due to my symptoms and responces to abx?

you opened a good discussion..

Im either going to try this or the modified saltc protocol with himalayan crystal salt and apple polysterols...

Either sound convincing. I may try them both but im hoping I can post back after the first one and say "all better"

I go to my llmd on the 29th so I will post in this thread what he says.

If he wants me to do one or the other I will start a log thread here.

I have a feeling he will want to treat for babesia next though.

I was just recommended to start this protocol as well and I was wondering if any of you had tried it yet? I'd like to know what you md suggested. I have lyme and babesia so I'm interested in how you are proceeding and why.

BeOne, Did your LLMD ask you to start this? I am sorry, I can't be of much help here..

My LLMD never did this one for me...mainly just abx and the herbal drops for Babs...

Some here do the abx and A-Bab combo for lyme and Babs..

I notice you are new here, so welcome..Have you done a search in this site...under Lyme and Babs?

Are you self treating? IF so..may want to research more and/or find an LLMD to help you????
