After being ill for almost a year, I am FINALLY feeling like my old self for the last few weeks. Didn't want to post too early, as we all know that feeling better is usualy short-lived with Lyme. After seeing my LLMD in Oct., he thinks we are finally "attacking" the bacteria & starting to win! He increased my abx(pulsing right now) and I actually am feeling so good that I have been doing a lot of my old hobbies, working without practically collapsing at the end of the day, and getting out more on the weekends. Even starting to "chase" my wife around the house, ha-ha. After being ill for so long, and even wanting to die many times, and thinking that I had every disease out there, life is getting good again. I know I'm not completely better yet, but I have hope again. I can't say enough good about my LLMD(Dr.H. here in WI! He knows his stuff, and I'm so gratedul to have found him. Hang in there all of you, with time & the right treatment, we all can get better--Greg |
"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....
