Just saw a commercial about insurance--it starts out with a woman talking about getting sick, seeing many doctors, specialists and finally being diagnosed with LYME DISEASE. Ad doesn't really have anything to do with Lyme, specifically, it's about insurance coverage but it's the first time I've seen a mention of Lyme disease on national tv, ad or otherwise.

I saw it too and thought it was good publicity. She also mentions spending 50,000 of her own money. I thought it was great because it seems a lot of us have to spend our own money outside our insurance plan to get diagnosed and treated properly.

She's realistic huh. Skinny, pale, frail, weak. She's got chronic lyme alright.
