I was wondering if anyone is suffering from constant pain, almost like a pinching feeling in the back of their head.

I don't know if this is a Lyme symptom or maybe something else.

I am thinking Lyme.....

Thank you.

Dot,

I used to have what you describe pretty constant. And in the back of the head. Now it is just a pressure that is there most of the time. Also used to be accompanied by stiff neck.

It could be Lyme if you also have other symptoms and believe you were bitten.

But a pinched feeling alone may be other things like a pinched nerve due to a bad spinal disc. Have a doctor check it out.

I wish I had solutions for everybody here who is suffering, but I am still hunting for them myself and seem to be more of a student on this board than a teacher. All I have to offer is my experience, support, and prayers based on what I have learned in my recovery. I am not a physician.

GOT HEADACHES?

Don’t take aspirin - Drink alkaline water

When we get a headache, the brain is telling us something is wrong with our body.

Aspirin is acidic, and at best provides

a temporary relief. Get to the root of the cause -DRINK ALKALINE WATER.

HOW MUCH WATER SHOULD I DRINK DAILY?

Ideally we should consume a 1/2 oz glass of water per pound of body weight.

An easy way to calculate this ratio is to divide your body weight by 2, then divide that number by 8 (8 ounces).

For example: a 150 lb. person needs 75 ounces of water or nine 8 oz glasses of water a day.

Alkaline water has a high pH and drinking too much initially can cause diarrhea or an upset stomach.

Start off slowly, by drinking 1~2 glasses of alkaline water with a low pH in the morning, and again before bed time.

Gradually increase the pH and your water

intake until you can comfortably consume the required amount of water per day.

If you drink a lot of other fluids (tea, coffee, juice, cola, etc.), you will still need to drink this amount of water, if

not more.

Typically, our organs (kidneys, liver, and intestines) has to filter our additives before it can use the pure water to detoxify and nourish our cells.

Drinking alkaline water first alleviates this kink of stress and strain on our organs.

Consider this little fact: It takes 32 glasses of alkaline water to neutralize the acid from one 12 oz cola.

from this lengthy article i'm reformatting it all since it was all choppy the entire post.

Hey everybody, how do I pass this post onto another person in this post?

Or do I have to paste the "link" and have them get there that way?

Bettyg is on our topic of acid and alkaline!!!

Wanted to pass it on to her incase she not find it.

Thanks,

wlkthlneCool

Wink Great information on water consumption Betty. Has got to be at the root of so many problems.

Have really wondered how many people see bigger improvement on Lyme symptoms from drinking lots of water?

I wish I had solutions for everybody here who is suffering, but I am still hunting for them myself and seem to be more of a student on this board than a teacher. All I have to offer is my experience, support, and prayers based on what I have learned in my recovery. I am not a physician.

The headaches with lyme disease are usually pressure headaches and they can be throughout the head, and yes especially at the back of the head.

In extreme cases, in lyme you can have migraines (I have them very rarely) but the pressure headache is almost constant, worse when I am sitting or laying in bed.

I probably contracted Lyme Disease and other tick-borne co-infections when I was 4 or 5 when I found two ticks stuck on my right side of the neck.

I went un-diagnosed until adulthood, developed severe symptoms suddenly at 19 and I struggle with them to this day.
