MDJunction to me

Joy75"MDJunction to me is a second home. I visit daily to support and get supported. Everyone is so great here. The people are what make this site so
perfect. When someone says I helped them, I feel so good about myself. When
I am down, I come here to talk with my lovely friends. This is a great site
and I’ve come to love it and my friends here. Thank you for making such a
wonderful place to call home!

Hi, everyone - I posted about my Lyme diagnosis on another forum I belong to (not health-related) and gave a link because someone else replied they'd been finally diagnosed with FM! Anyway, another person responded and said:

"To contract Lyme Disease, you need to breathe in the pollen of a certain tree, AND be bit by a particulat type of tick. If you get bit by the tick, but never breathe in the pollen, you never get the disease. If you breathe in the pollen, but never get bit by the tick, you never get the disease."

Anyone ever heard of THIS??!!

That's a new one! No, can't say I have heard of that.

Doesn't sound right to me.

I wish I had solutions for everybody here who is suffering, but I am still hunting for them myself and seem to be more of a student on this board than a teacher. All I have to offer is my experience, support, and prayers based on what I have learned in my recovery. I am not a physician.

I found lots of references to allergies/asthma can make Lyme worse and vice versa, and references to increased pollen being an indicator of increased food sources causing increased population of tic infested animals.

Oi yowza..*jig* I'd say they are wrong.
With Him we "live" no matter the circumstances. At His feet peace of mind can be found. Peace that passes all understanding is my quest now and forever.

Numbers 6:24-26
"The LORD bless you and keep you;the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."
