Lyme Disease Support Group

My life has been so impacted by lyme and tbd's-my daughter had lyme and bartonella, i have lyme and possibly bartonella and my father has been very ill with lyme and babesiosis.

I posted information on facebook and me and my sister are going to put information about symptoms onto our profile page...nothing is going to change unless we all change it along with our wonderful docs...

so if you are on facebook or any other social site do what you can to educate others. I wish i had known what was happening to me when i ended up in the hospital 13 years ago with a severely swollen face and neck!! my llmd thinks that is when it all started. so do what you can

That is wonderful!! I just recently joined FB and have a bunch of Lyme causes I am trying to promote. It's all in the works right now. I have Chronic Lyme and Babesiosis (9 years now - almost 2 years on treatment). I just don't think people realize how horrible it really is. Being a former teacher, I really believe in the importance of education and awareness. Like I said, I am new to FB -

It's something I can do from home on my decent days (with help from family & friends). I'm trying to use FB to promote it. Since I'm beyond broke, I'm really trying to get the word out. If/when I'm better, I plan to donate some of the proceeds to Lyme research and education.
