I got my first round of endocrine tests back, and I have high DHEA (above 1300, whereas the range is about 400-900. I forget the units).

I saw on another forum in a google search that some other people with Lyme had high DHEA.

I looked up the symptoms of high DHEA, and one of them is heart palpitations. Maybe that's at least one reason for my heart issues.

Does anyone else have high DHEA?

What are common endocrine disturbances with Lyme?

I'm getting PCOS, ovarian cysts, Raynaud's syndrome (really annoying, my fingers and toes are often icy), gaining weight easily, etc.

I found this site about what high/low hormone levels can mean.

http://www.sherrysdrug.com/learn/womenshealth/hormones_high- low/

not sure how accurate it is, but it's interesting.

They say: High DHEAS is associated with insulin resistance/PCOS (polycystic ovaries)
