Sorry I havent been around much. Lots of personal (family) issues and of course I work 6 days a week.

I have been off ABX for several months and was feeling pretty good.

However I am having symptoms reappear, so I just want to stress to everyone that they cant overdue it when they are feeling better.(yes im guilty)

I went down to visit an aunt in Fl and became the victim of the Spirt Airlines pilot strike.

It became necessary to drive home(21)hours with my daughter and 3 yr old grand daughter.

All I can say is thank god for DVD's and I can sing the sponge bob song ...lol

Thought here might be as good a place as any to make some explanations myself...

I wrote a nice long, detailed post yesterday, but due to a computer glitch, lost the whole darn thing before I hit submit.

So, today's will be much shorter, with far less detail...especially since the quiet time I began this post with is now long gone! So here goes...

I was feeling a bit better and had asked for an antibiotic holiday, which I received.

Then, as I tried to live up to the standards of productivity that I and society expects of a Mother and Wife, a.k.a. "doing too much" , I started having symptoms again also.

I had never been truly symptom free in the first place, but had just become so tired of trying day in and out to remember to take pills after over a year of doing it. Turns out this may not be a good enough reason to take an abx holiday.

I started having many of my old familiar symptoms, many of which were Babs related like sweating and shortness of breath. So, doc is running some more tests. I should hear more just after the holiday.

Then I went with Mom to Florida...And, well, we know how that turned out !

I was feeling pretty good and after running out of my flagyl rx - started to relapse. I waited a few weeks, more symptoms popped up, and now the holiday is over for me!

I'm doing Samento and Oil of Oregano, will probably stay with that this summer. As high a dose as I can tolerate while I'm so symptomatic...

I know what you mean about doing too much. I start feeling guilty sometimes and push myself too hard. In the end, I wind up doing even less than before because it sets me back, you know?

We took a little detour through your home state on our way home from FL. The gps wanted us to go some crazy way to 295. I should have just gone the way I know. Didnt add too much time to the already LOOOONG drive, but when your that close to home you just want to get there. I needed to drop rental off at Atlantic City Airport and get my own car.
