Joint and muscle pain

Numbness and tingling in arms

fatigue

headache

nausea

swollen lymph nodes

sore throat

dizziness

shortness of breath

Some of these symptoms come and go but the joint and muscle pain is always present..some days are better than others.

My results are as follows:

E. Chaffeensis igm titer- 1:40

Lyme western blot igm P41 Ab Positive/Present

My doctor called me the other day with the results and said he called in a prescription for doxycycline 2 times a day b/c he THINKS I have ehrlichiosis. He did not say I have lymes though. Does anyone know anything about my test results? I have been reading mixed research on band 41. I have been on antibiotics since friday...5 days and have no improvement in my symptoms.

you do have LYME disease with NO S on end named after Lyme, Conn. print off the info in dr. c's explanation of western blot igm/igg ok. there is a special thing i added last week specifically on protein band 41!

there are 4 of us group leaders here who have nationwide llmd lists: me, jaime, cmany/christine, and brenda/tennesseemom ok.

also, depending on how long you have been sick and misdiagnosed, YOU WILL NOT BE WELL OVERNIGHT!!! i can't emphasize that enough to you.

doxy is the beginning of getting on the road to REMISSION; only those bitten having tick embedded or bulls-eye rash are able to be 100% cured or very close to it.

how many days were you given abx for? you need to be on 3 months for just being bitten! 2 exta months with NO SYMPTOMS before you discontinue abx..critical on that one!

in your case sounds like you need for much longer time, ONLY YOUR LLMD CAN TELL YOU HOW LONG when they start treating you.
