Mine will arrive soon and i have to import it into Canada, Customs informed me that if i had a prescription for it from a Canadian doctor it would be duty and tax free. Can Americans get a script for it and save some expense through insurance?

Probably. Very interesting. Too late for me now. Oh well.
Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.

I retract my statement about my Doc being a moron, now shes a sweety it took some work but she sees things my way now for some strange reason.I took some printouts on the biomat to her office and she seemed really interested and read most of the info..she then put all my sheets in a folder and kept them. She said no problem Ron if you think it will help i will write the script..yippee! saves $$ and then i gave me a list of all my symptoms and put X's beside the ones that have disappeared and i asked her well whats your clinical diagnosis..she said by this you have Lyme disease and i am willing to treat you without blood tests if you like and she seaid the only reliable test we can do is in California but its $400 and i dont expect you to fork out that kind of money ..i responded what do you think of the Samento in this battle? she said i have heard of it and frankly you are probably doing the right thing..if you get in trouble just come see me and i will put you on antibiotics right away!I was amazed she knew so much about testing and even alternative treatments.I said to her there has only been 20 cases of Lyme this year in New Brunswick and i bet there are a lot of people out there with it and dont realize it and may even a few of them will show up in your office and she said your right i know theres a lot more Lyme out there than is ever reported! she is not a Moron now..i gave her a big hug!!

Wow!! I wish you could talk to my doctor! I guess it shows there's hope. I'll try to be a little more persistant with mine.

So what does the biomat do?

You should PM Connie on the biomat she has experience with it Mine is in transit.I figured out why doc changed her tune,When i was in pain 2 days ago i called and asked her secretary about the possiblity of a script for the biomat and asked her to relay a message to doc asking if she had a few minutes befor i come for my appointment maybe she could do a little research on the biomat and i asked for some compassion because i am very sure i have Lyme and not diabetic neuropathy and the big one..i asked for the message to be relayed that ists time for her to start thinking outside of the box because i was upset she refused to diagnose me.Well she clinically diagnosed me today as a case of Lyme..finally i won and got my biomat script to boot!

Wow! You made a huge headway with your doctor! My story is almost exactly the same except cfs/fibro instead of diabetic neuropathy. Plus she still thinks I'm loony. Oh well, if it worked for you maybe it will work for me.

Things are looking up for you, Ron!

I LOVE the BioMat! My parents bought one a few weeks ago and we are all at our ranch in New Mexico for a couple weeks. We've had several guests come out that had a hard time with the altitude and after 30 - 60 minutes, they were better.

My fiance, Doug, is on the mat as I type this. Poor guy accidentally over-did it with the Samento last night and is HERXING like a mad man. The biomat is really helping him get through it.

I'm getting my mat for Christmas. Can't wait! I'll be able to set it to infrared after the baby is born to help me drop a little weight as well.

Way to go Ron, congratulations on the diagnosis and the biomat. Your persistence paid off. It's a shame that we have to do all the work for the Dr's, maybe your Dr.'s change in attitude will be the beginning of a trend to help others.
