I have seen Dr. Oz a time or two and i do like his style, too. Of course, everyone on here knows by now that I am a believer in the healing powers of alternative medicine. Acupuncture was a tool I used that helped improve my energy levels. I really never had the time to try Reiki, but I have heard good things about Reiki.

I love my biomat, too. I think you'll be very pleased. Clayton bought one for her brother and it seems to be helping him, too.

Peace,

Connie

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.

Buckron,

There is NOTHING in this world like a Reiki Massage! When your wife is attuned (the proper term for training of a Reiki student/Master), you will be amazed at the healing power she will have. As a level I, she will mostly be able to heal herself, with some ability to heal you, but no real way to direct the healing. As a level II, she will have a much better ability to direct the healing for you, along with a way to do distance healing. As a level III, she will be a Master and can attune other students, so can train you on how to heal yourself. It is well worth the training, IMHO. I am a level III Usui (usually where most students begin training) Reiki Master and a Karuna I Master. I am completely addicted to Reiki Massages, and I, too, wanted to become a Reiki Massage Therapist. However, because my hands are so horribly sore all the time, I just can't do it. That, and I'm exhausted all the time, I don't think I could keep up with the schooling for massage. Encourage her to go thru with it!!! You will reap the benefits, big-time!!

Jen

Just because it's impossible doesn't mean it can't happen.

I'm not a doc, so anything I say is my opinion only. Nothing I say is meant as offense, I offer what I can as help.

I believe in educating myself on all my medical issues and being my own advocate, for no one else with do that on my behalf. I recommend we all do the same!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Perhaps I truly am insane for expecting these docs to listen to me when I say the same things repeatedly to no avail? LOL. I am tired of seeking out new docs and getting the same result time and again...Forgive me if I seem bitter some days.

At one time I told my husband I wanted to become a Reiki Massage therapist (my sister is a level II or III, can't remember, and a phyical therapist). He said "Ok, but you can only treat women---and me, of course." LOL

Buckron--

I should have mentioned that you check out the website reiki.org. There is a listing of members there who are Karuna II Reiki Masters, certified thru the website. They can attune her and train her up thru all III Usui levels and into the Karuna if she wishes. Beware that it can be pricey. I was lucky enough to get all my training at no charge, but some Masters charge a HUGE amount to attune/train students. You can search the site, tho, for Masters who will work with her, and see what you can work out. Perhaps you could even find someone to barter with for other services, especially once she becomes an MT?

Good luck to her!

Jen
