I have never been officially diagnosed by a Test or Doctor as mine refused to deal with Lyme.I use to have arthritis now its gone. The problem i have now is pain (neuropathy) in my forearms and hands(my right) worse than left.My forearms and hands are stiff and cold, and a lot of wicked burning tissue type pain.It involves my feet (bones on top) but rarely. My ears Hissssss and i have sensations of something crawling in them.My neck snaps and creaks(no Pain there)Insomnia (yuk).but 2 months ago the arthritis was very scary in my hands knobs and all(disappeared) now my fingers just swell and can be stiff to close.I hate being in this situation but i would sooner buy more Samento than messing around with a blood test in another country, because there is no help here anyway, even if there was i am reluctant to go the conventional antibiotic route. Please if you have or have had the same thing could you post? Thanx

I've had many of the same problems. Had extremely painful tingling (not like pin and needles but more like nails) and burning which gradually changed to decreased sensitivity and numbness (much worse on the right side than the left). I also had pain in my neck and would get sharp pain shooting through the right side of my head. I never got direct answers as to what was causing it but it did finally go away with treatment. The neurologist I went to said that in his opinion it meant the bacteria had gotten into the central nervous system and that the only way to treat once that happened was with iv. I'm not sure if there's an alternative but I only had rocephin iv for a month and once I was through the herxing the neurological issues were mostly gone. I know it also seemed to improve more even after the picc line when I started taking magnesium and co Q-10. I've continued taking them since stopping antibiotics and since then have noticed even the brain fog has cleared and memory has improved. I've been taking them for almost five months though so if it's something you decide to try it won't happen fast. Hope that was some help to you.

Captain Hook: I think you mean an epiphany.
Smee: No... lightning has just struck my brain.
Captain Hook: Well, that must hurt.

Since you are doing treament on your own, I suggest you order "Healing Lyme" by Stephen Harrod Buhner. He sugggests herbal protocols for lyme and co-infections. My Dr. has me on some of them and next week I am going to ask him about the ones I'm not on. It sounds like you are having nerological sypmtoms that need to be addressed. He also breaks down lyme sypmtoms and has specific protocls for each sypmtom.

Hope this helps,

Denise
