MDJunction to me

Hazeldee"MDJunction means that I no longer have to feel like I am the only person in
the world with pericarditis. It means that I can talk to others who know
how stressful and how painful having pericarditis can be. It means that I
connect with others to discuss treatments that have or haven't worked for us, so that we have a leg to stand on. I think that having my friends at
MDJunction has allowed me to better mentally and emotionally process my
diagnosis and what it means to me. I feel so lucky to have this community
available to me. I use MDJunction as a way to use my experience to help
others. Reaching out to help others is the only solace I have found since
being diagnosed with pericarditis.

I just pm'd Mitchell. Betty, will he get it? I gave him the numbers of my doc - he has two offices. The one he is in today is only an hour from Wilmington, DE. I hope he calls.

ETA: Just saw the above post.

sleep paralasys is a horribly scary thing, I know many of us have experienced it.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what's going on with our dear Mitchell or not...but anyway you slice it, not being in control of your own body is downright aweful.

Mitchell please know we are all sending love and prayers and positive energy your way. We are looking forward to hearing from you very soon.

Until then dear friend...

gentle hugs

MITCHELL UPDATE ... HE'S IN SURGERY NOW!!

got this from his close friend lisa ...

Tuesday, April 27, 2010 7:20 AM

Hi Betty,

Mitchell is in the hospital and has appendicitus.

I insisted he go last night due to high fever and the inability to move and am so thankful.

He is being prepped for surgery as I write.

Will keep you updated and thanks so much for the information.

Pray for himSmile

Lisa...

*************************

lisa also sent me her home address and 2 phone nos.

heavenly father,

please give this surgeon skillful hands as he is operating on mitchell this morning.

we are so thankful his close friend, lisa, was called and convinced him to go to hospital last night for immediate attention since he was paralyzed.

we're thankful she reached out to me during mitchell's time of need for any llmds in mitchell's area so they could be of assistance in getting mitchell the proper care and treatment during this crisis in his life.

god, mitchell has given each one of us mdjunction lyme members so much WISDOM, his philosophy in life, his daily struggles to overcome the horrors of his advanced lyme disease, and the much needed HUMOR he brings to our board daily.

we pray that mitchell will recover 100% from his surgery today and bring back himself to this board with even more humor and bed pan stories than before. Laughing

god, please forgive mitchell for all of his sins as you have forgiven each of ours ... in his name.

AMEN...

KEEP THE PRAYERS COMING 24/7 FOR MITCHELL FOLKS!! HE NEEDS US MORE THAN EVER!
