MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

I have been treating my pneumonia for the last couple of days with honey. I was wondering whether or not its beneficial for lyme. Honey is supposedly able to increase the alkalinity of the body and is rich in enzymes antioxidants, vitamins, etc. And it supposedly cures many different conditions. It is 10 times more germicidal then hydrogen peroxide.

What is the opionon of mdjunction members?

Paul

Hi Paul,

Sorry to hear you are battling pneumonia along with the Lyme. I don't have any info to offer you, hopefully someone will come along and give some advice. I know honey is beneficial for may things.

Good luck,

AnnF

Not sure about honey, but you can check with your health food store for good remedy info.

If you are battling candida (yeast problems) the natural sugar wouldn't be a good idea.

I have read on many online sites that honey is beneficial at treating candida.

From my own research honey has some probiotics which would help with the candida. I was told a spoon of honey is good to take sometime in the morning the same as yogurt. Personally I don't think it would help with the Lyme its self though.

honey is amazing. although I don't think it alone would "cure" lyme. being such a complex disease. and you can't just buy honey off the shelf when we're talking about this either. I just read that somewhere. You need local honey, or from a health food store for all the effects of it, and you can really taste a difference.

I don't think it can hurt, that's for sure.

funny, 25 years ago my dad would always have me take a tablespoon of honey every day, maybe he knew something I didn't. hmmm

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Is it not supposed to be honey made from bees that feed on special flowers from Australia and New Zealand? below is a link.
