Hi!

Im new to the board and have so many questions... I just feel compelled to reach out to someone who knows what I might be going through. My story is long, and I don't know where to start... and I don't even have a confirmed diagnosis-- this just seems to fit.

I have also been, I think by some divine intervention, been pursuing alternative treatment for my symptoms, which started when I became pregnant last May. Acupuncture and herbal remedies--awful tasting-- have given me almost an instant relief. But I still have symptoms and I am "reactive" on band 41 of a Quest ELISA-- I'm going to get the IgeneX tests soon.

I am just wondering what your thoughts are in doing antibiotics with these treatments? I may have had this infection for over 15 years... and if something can kill it so i don't have to worry about a relapse, I think I would like to do that, but antibiotic treatment seems so controversial. Why? I think i feel good knowing this may be what I have but I still, in knowing, don't feel I clearly know what to do next...

Do you have an LLMD yet, Jellyfishk? If not, PM Jaime and ask about one in your area. You need someone to take care of you and show you the way.

In the meantime, we are all here to help. You can toss out questions here, or PM us...we are only too glad to share whatever we can.

Take care and be well.

Tom

I am not a doctor, and nothing I say here should be taken as medical advice of any kind.
