OUT OF POCKET expenses since lyme is considered by health insurance companies as "experimental treatment". read in my welcome letter about the POLITICS; 2 types of lyme treatment idsa, infectious disease society of america aka infectious drs. vs ilads, intl lyme associated disease society, aka our chronic LLMDS, lyme literate mds cdc uses idsa's 06 lyme guidelines; health insurance companies follow IDSA/CDC guidelines; thus our bills are denied! are you on medicare? igenex will be paid except for about $50. they 1st test elisa; it's MANDATORY! can't do western blot w/out elisa 1st. Keep trying. You may be surprised with the outcome. I tried and they were paid. So, my advice to you; is keep trying. A positive lab test, I'm sure helps.
