MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

Question...

I have been having unusual pelvic pain and also pain over and behind my right ovary.

I know by the reading I have done that Lymes pretty much INVADES your body and attacks organs, etc.

Is it possible that it can be affecting an area like that too??

I have an apt with my OBGYN for an ultrasound next week..(just what I need, another apt) but I have never had any problems with ovarian cysts...

It has been a few weeks and when I lay on my stomach it is horrible. Along with all these other symptoms

Thanks.

I don't know so much from my own experience but a nurse in my doctor's office told me it affected her ovaries and eventually shut them down. It's good you're having it checked though. I have pain there myself but it's in the muscle as well as my ovaries being a little enlarged from PCOS.

Good luck, I hope you get some answers and get some relief.

Maddy I've had that type of pain before and was told I have a fibroid tumor. The will increase/decrease in size based on estrogen levels in the body. They found mine via vaginal sonogram. After a diagnosis, I started using natural progesterone cream, stopped using anything synthetic on my body (shampoo, lotions, cosmetics, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent)and it rarely bothers me anymore and has shrunk in size. Birth control pills are full of estrogen and will make the tumors grow. I would consider everything in your environment from what you put in your mouth, to what you put on your skin and what you breathe. Hope this helps.

Thanks..I scheduled an ultrasound for next week just so I feel better. I figure, if it's nothing, maybe it's another thing on the list for lymes symptoms..and it may help my case.

Hoepfully it will shrink on its own...

My girlfriend has one and it got huge during her pregnancy. YUCK.

Thanks again

IMO, I think so. I recently had a long heavy menstrual cycle that couldn't be explained but everything checked out OK.

Mine was a fibroid tumor the size of a grape fruit (two of them) had to have a total HYST when I was 43. I think its great you are having it checked out. When we have lyme we tend to blame everything on it and that can be bad for us. Good luck and let us know

Julie

p.s. Just like itching from an abx, everyone told me it was a herx and it was a bad reaction that could have killed me if I did not go to the ER

Lyme will not win, we will and we WILL…
