I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

Just wondering if anyone knows if my positive igenex test, which said cdc positive on it, will be reported to the cdc and counted as a case in my state. I am wondering if the state will give proper recognition to an igenex test..Also did any of you get your general pcp docs to ever come on board so to speak, and support you with your lyme treatments. Thanks guys..

However my Dr. did report mine to the Health Department, and they came out and spoke to me and called me for months on end to see how I was doing. They also put traps in my back yard to catch them and test them

Yes my GP was OUTSTANDING in my treatment regarding my lyme, without him I have no idea where I would be today..

At 1st he did not know that much about lyme except what the CDC would say about lyme, like he said to me, one shoe does not fit everyone and everyone is different...He was great and still is when I start to feel crappy...(which thank god is not often regarding my lyme)

Hi Julie,

I thought if it said it was CDC positive that it did get reported. The ones that arent CDC positive but are positive buy Igenex are not reported.

I was told because it was Igenex (and the CDC does not believe in it) they don't go by it. So my Dr. called himself....

I agree with Cmany, call them yourself and explain the test results to them....Can't hurt...However they won't do anything about it...Sad All they did was call me numerous times and my dr. to see what treatment I was getting...And then to call and see how I was feeling..That went on for a few months.

Mine was CDC postitive with a commercial lab and they did report. I got a letter from the health department but not much else. The info they sent me was basic and vague.

I would report it as well if you think the lab wont.

The lab who tested me CDC positive apparently reported it. The CDC then called the doc who ordered the test (idiotic neurologist who only ordered the test because I asked him to), but nothing else happened. Not sure what the neuro told them.
