Can anyone help me. My daughter in law has been very ill and her neurologist has indicated that he believes she has ALS. At the insistance of a friend who was diagnosed with MS and then found out it was lymes disease, we asked the doctor to do a lyme test. The test said she had one positive in band #23. We have later found out that she should also have a test done by Igenex lab in California as they do a full spectrum test. Our problem is that her neurologist will not prescribe antibiotices for her as he doesn't know anything about lymes. He sent her to an infectious disease specialist and he refused to treat her because you should test positive to more than just one band. We need to find a doctor that would treat her to make sure this is not lymes disease. Lymes disease may be treatable but ALS is not. We live in Northern Wisconsin and also live very close to the Minneapolis area so any doctor names would be very helful.

Hi Jennifer,

My daughter had the blood drawn for the Ingenex test on Monday. Hopefully we will have a confirmation on the lymes disease. Thank you for your response.
