A couple of days ago, you asked whether we had an LLMD, and I had no clue how important your question was. My wife's headaches have subsided after 5 days of doxycyclin, but haven't gone away, and the fatigue is still incapacitating. NOW, however the test results have come back from her blood test and the nurse is saying: No, you don't have lyme. Challenged, she asks the doctor, who contradicts and says, 'well, it's just inconclusive at this point' which leads me to think we're probably working with the wrong doctors, and that it's also time to test for the co-infections which you mentioned. We don't REALLY know it's lyme, we just have the bullseye rash, the headaches, the fatigue, and a bunch of joint pain that seems to move around from neck to wrists, two dogs with lyme disease, (one of which died from it) etc. Can you provide a list of LLMDs in PA? (good ones, obviously) We're in Bucks County (Phila. suburb) but will travel if necessary to see a doctor who knows their stuff. Also, I saw comments in the posts of several other readers suggesting that it might be worthwhile to make sure the samples go to the right lab. Any test labs to choose / avoid? Thanks !

Why do these Dr.s always ignore the obvious symptoms?

I'm so sorry for what you are going through. You can PM Jamie a group leader for LLMDs. As for blood tests the reputable labs are IgeneX and Immunoscience.

Good luck and take care, Denise
