Not everyone will get the classic bulls-eye rash after being bitten by an infected tick. This is what can make this tricky. I think the statistics are that less than 40 percent ever get this sign. I was one of the unlucky ones back in 1995, I had the classic sign and I wasn't treated for a tick bite, I was treated for an insect bite not known in my med records this is stated. I was not given the right kind of antibiotic to prevent the Lyme Bacteria from manifesting into my system. Are you having any weird symptoms? Anything unusual than before you were bitten? If you are, the best lab in the country to go through is Igenex in California. Over a period of 12 years every test I had, about 15 of them were negative through all these smaller labs out there, they call them quack labs. You must go through a reputable lab in order to be tested properly. I will save you the grief of what I went through. There number is 800-832-3200 and they will send you the test kit free right to your home. The next step is to find a Dr. that will draw the blood for the test. Even this can be tricky for some people, because some Dr.'s don't want to do this for you, which is ridiculous. This is what happened to me. It took me 12 years to show that I was CDC positive for the Lyme Bacteria in my system. I have much faith in Igenex to find this, if you truly do have Lyme Disease going on.
