I have been bitten by so many ticks in my life I couldn't even begin to start counting...we grew up with a large pine forest behind my house, and we just loved lying in the soft fallen pine needles on a daily basis...it seemed almost like a mystical place... but, long story short, even after being bitten by all those ticks, I got lyme in utero, but just found out...(but it's origin is in western NC) I am not a medical doctor YET...my opinions are not approved by the FDA! ;)
