 I finally got the Dr to agree to more Lyme test for my daughter. They are using Specialty Labs in CA. We ordered the western blot and a 7721B and 8968 for co-infections. We did this Monday and are awaiting results. I know Igenx is better, but these won't cost me anything, so I'm starting there. I'm curious if anyone else tested positive through this lab?

 I used Igenex - if you are sure that your daughter has Lyme (mom's intuition) and her tests come back negative, then go through Igenex to be sure. I was misdiagnosed for 24 years. It's so frustrating because I have lived in pain for so long. My Ignenx test was the best money that I have spent. I would have gone crazy trying to figure all this out otherwise. I've never trusted doctors so I quit going to them years ago. I finally went in and demanded another Lyme test (from a doctor that has Lyme herself) and thank goodness she knew where to send the test!

 No one has used specialty labs in CA? It has been a week and I don't have my results yet. I really need them by tomorrow morning. My daughter just got a pediatric neuro appt. with a new neuro and I'm pretty sure he isn't LLMD and will dismiss the thought of Lyme. I do have an appt. with a LLMD but couldn't get in till Sept. 2. It would have just been better to have the lab results to take with us tomorrow.
