My tongue is white. Candida albicans? How do you get rid of it? The nurse wants me to get off ABX, but I don't want to! I'm afraid that I will slip back. I'm waiting for her to talk to the LLMD and call me back.

I take Nystatin 4xdaily, 2 probiotics-different strains and when I get the white stuff on my tongue or vag yeast I take 10 days of Diflucan.

hope this helps...

You can also take zinc lozenges....and oral Nystatin - swish it around to cover it all..

I used to get an RX for zinc lozenges - but IDK if they do that anymore...that was many years ago...I do know you can get them at a health food store usually...

I used a Neem toothpaste & mouthwash that helped a lot. I got it at a health food store/market like Whole Foods.

There is an excellent book for exactly this. I can not recommend it highly enough. I laughed when I switched to my new LLMD and she recommended it to me!

Detox for Women by Natalia Rose. It is fantastic. She has a 28 day yeast cleanse...all natural. And some great advice and dietary info and recipes.

Really worth checking out.

I did the cleanse and by the 4th day my entire body felt cleaner and healthier, it was the best I've felt since all this lyme crap started. I felt like yeast was growing out of my ears it was so bad...like i could chew my spit....sorry to be so gross!

It was bad, this helped big time! I was also on probiotics and diflucan prior to this cleanse and they were barely working.

Feel better!

Oh and its not just for women, she addresses that men can have these issues and benefit every bit as much from the cleanse and general info pertaining to yeast.
