I was on Vicadin for a while and woke up in the middle of night with the feeling that my toung had fallen back in my mouth and I could either inhale or exhale. This happened plenty of times and since I stopped with the pain killer it has not happened again.(But I can not get a good night sleep, I wake up all the time and after 3-4:00 am. I can not sleep at all. Do you get enough sleep?

Jenn, I rarely had anxiety or depression until the LD symptoms showed up. Since then, I've had terrible panic attacks for no good reason, and it is not related to any of my meds.

I didn't think that Xanax helped so I didn't stay on it. One thing I want you to know, though, is to be careful if you decide to take it. I took a low dose every day for 2 weeks and decided to stop. Since it had been such a short time and it was a low dose, I thought I could do that, cold turkey. Well, it felt like someone had pushed me off a cliff. I thought I was having a heart attack and had to be driven into Emergency. As it turned out, I should have gone off the Xanax gradually. So, just FYI.

I don't take anything regularly now. A lot of my supplements are calming and if I get really bad, I take Klonopin. I haven't had any problems with that, but everyone is different.
