"Lyme Awareness" (karazon)

MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

I don't think Lyme prefers one sex over the other, I think it is an equal opportunistic pathogen.

On this site, it does seem that more females have lYme, but it's probably just that women are more likely to post for whatever reason.

I'm so glad to hear that you are able to work. That's progress. Hopefully, all of your symptoms will diminish and you'll be back to your old self once more.

Peace,

connie

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.

good answer con no, lyme doesn't prefer one sex over another. Women are more social creatures and seek information on sites like this. But I get MANY pm's from males as well. They just donm't always post
