I seem to "come alive" the later it gets at night and

have more energy and can think clearer. The mornings

are usually very slow going for me no matter when

I get out of bed. Afternoons are slightly better but

still usually very sluggish. Does anyone else seem

to experience this energy thing in the evening hours?

Yep. I have always been a bit of a night owl. Since having lyme I find that I do better at night. Durring the day my focus always seems off.

Just one of the many things we deal with. At least I'm clear part of the time. Smile

Yes! Drives me nuts. Its like I am backwards. I can hardly drag myself out of bed in the mornings no matter how long Ive slept or tried to sleep.

I think it may be related to hormones and cortisol levels???

Even though I am more alert at night I still get nothing done because my body is sore and tired from dragging it through its day. uugh.

so done with this crap. sigh.

last 4-6 yrs. have been the worst since correct diagnosis 5.5 yrs. ago.

last 3-4 yrs. up to 2-5 am nightly; can't sleep. when body shuts down, i go to bed hoping to sleep. MANY of us suffer this way.

YEP! I'm on the board posting at almost 3 am right now haha. I am definitely most alert at night and then can't seem to get myself out of bed for the next 12-18 hours.

Lyme can serious effect the entire endocrine system - and really screw it up - and even has been known to shut it all down (a well loved and respected LLMD died because Lyme shut down his endocrine system) often our adrenals are hit hard (cortisol levels) and the issue of healing becomes compromised...

A good adrenal support can be a wonderful thing...if it werent for the one that I take, I could never get up at 4am and run the rest of the day...til 10-11 at night...

I think I definitely come more alive and focused at night. Was useful to figure that out for those difficult finals to study for in college.

Hey Cmany I need to get that adrenal support. That list of supplements you gave me got deleted Sad I'm taking a ton of stuff right now but would love to add the adrenal support.

What's the name of that stuff again?

I've ALWAYS been a night owl. I have always drug out of the bed even when I felt a little better than I do now....But as a teen I could not operate at all before 10 a.m.

With Him we "live" no matter the circumstances. At His feet peace of mind can be found. Peace that passes all understanding is my quest now and forever.
